About Me
Each person has a unique story that is continuously developing before them. As each chapter closes, a new one begins to bring about new adventures and unfolding events that develop character, test strength and resiliency as obstacles are navigated. These moments determine a person’s ability to push through setbacks, roadblocks, and develop the skills and mindset to facilitate perseverance, and harness their power that has always been within them to conquer challenges. Sometimes a person can feel lost and stuck along their journey, needing clearer direction, to refuel, or to pause and restart while they get their bearings to begin again.
This is where I come in. We are never meant to travel this life alone, and road trips are always better with company we can trust and rely on. My aim is to be the ray of light and hope to help guide you along your journey no matter which phase of life you are in. I will meet you at the beginning, the middle, the end, and every pitstop in between. I will help you evolve and rebuild through incorporating all aspects of wellness (physical, spiritual, and mental) so that you are prepared for whatever life throws your way.
I place high importance on the therapeutic relationship that is built on trust, transparency, and respect. Through obtaining my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia Gwinnett College, and my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Mercer University, I have honed my clinical skills through a holistic lens focusing on the mind-body connection and helping clients create a solid foundation rooted in total wellness. I am also certified as a Clinical Mental Health and Nutrition Specialist, so I can help clients heal from the inside out not just mentally, but physically as well.
I help my clients focus on complete self-care from the bottom-up to help cultivate the best versions of themselves to increase emotional resilience and capability for everyday stressors and life’s surprises. I utilize an eclectic approach of clinical styles and interventions within evidence-based practice including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Narrative, and Creative Expressive Therapies.
I have successfully worked with adolescent and adult clients struggling with various trauma, anxiety and depression, mood disorders, eating and body issues, self-harming and suicidal ideation, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, self-esteem, relationship issues and more.
In my free time, I love working out, cooking and exploring nutrition, reading, playing games, traveling, watching true crime documentaries and being with my friends, family, and dogs.
If you are ready to take control of your mind, body, and soul, I would love to join you and help you transform and experience the ride of a lifetime.
