“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.” —Ralph Waldo Emerson
We all had our past experiences and they contributed to shaping us into the people we are today. However, the past doesn’t have to limit us or define our path. Our ability to change, grow and realize our full potential never stops. Even if we had negative experiences in our past, we can work through them to create the most wonderful and fulfilling future. With the help of appropriate tools we can let go of fears, resentment, pain, depression, relationship issues, anger, addiction and anything else that holds us back from reaching our dreams, goals and becoming the best we can be.
I have been helping clients to heal for over 20 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Psychology in 1995 from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA. This paved the way for earning my Master of Science degree in Counseling from Georgia State University in 1997 and eventual licensing as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Furthermore, in addition to the formal academic education I became a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 1995, certified by the Wellness Institute in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, and earned a certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist by the National Guild of Hypnotists in 2007. While studying psychology I became interested in philosophy, theology and alternative medicine. Through my studies I recognized a strong connection between physical, emotional, mental, moral and spiritual aspects of self.
I take a holistic approach to counseling. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you reach your full potential using a variety of techniques uniquely suited for you and your presenting concerns. I am here for you, ready to help on your journey to healing and to a more fulfilling life. “Your past is not your potential. In any hour you can choose to liberate the future.”
I am fluent in English and Russian and looking forward to assisting you.
